I have visited Dr Dempsey clinic on a few occasions over the years. During visits i have been made to feel welcome and my concerns and symptoms always listened to. The advice and ongoing procedures suggested have duly followed. Dr Dempsey has always been happy, seemed knowledgeable and confident in his medical professional opinion. There does seem to be a little blip in the computer system, where on arrival at reception you are always sent to x-ray regardless if one is required on that day. On my last visit i was sent to x-ray even after saying "that's odd as I'm here to get x ray and lung function tests results". I went along for a seat to be told 15 minutes later x ray not required and go back to main clinic area. A walk, if nothing else!!! (exercise good for us all) Could a tick box or similar be added to the check in list at reception to tell if x ray required?

I was introduced to Dr Dempsey in May 2017 for advice concerning a suspected lung disorder and again in November 2017 as a follow-up. On the first visit Dr Dempsey advised that I was suffering from a condition called IPF, whose longer term effects could be debilitating and recommended a course of action to mollify these effects. He was very reassuring and very professional and I have been closely following his advice. Unfortunately, the computer had developed a fault and he was unable to show me in technical detail, as much as he would have hoped. However, on the second visit, following some breathing tests and x-rays, he showed me on screen and talked me through the computerised detail, which I found most helpful and enlightening. Dr Dempsey's expertise and professionalism were a great encouragement to me throughout the experience and I shall be following his advice with confidence.
